What does JMD Entertainment do?
JMD Entertainment is a live entertainment booking agency based in Northern California. We book dueling pianos, solo piano and vocal performers, karaoke hosts with live piano, DJ/MCs and custom packages for weddings, corporate events, holiday parties, venues and private parties, and we can supply the sound, lights and staging too. You book through us, and we handle the talent match, the contract and the day-of details.
What areas does JMD Entertainment serve?
We are based in Northern California and regularly book events in Sacramento, the San Francisco Bay Area and Peninsula, San Jose, Fresno, Napa, Sonoma, Lodi, Stockton, Modesto, Reno, Nevada and Lake Tahoe. Other cities are considered case by case, so just ask.
How far ahead should I book dueling pianos for a holiday party?
As early as you can. December weekends and mid-week company holiday parties are the first dates to fill, so reach out as soon as you have a date and venue. The earlier you ask, the more performers and production options you will have.
What do you need at the venue (space and power)?
Our shows are self-contained: we bring the pianos or piano shells, PA, mics and lighting. Most venues only need a clear, level area for the stage setup and access to standard power. Send us your venue name and a few photos of the room, and we will confirm the footprint, power and load-in plan before the event.
Can you provide sound and lights?
Yes. Production can be booked with the talent or on its own: piano shells and digital grands, PA speakers, monitors, mixers and microphones, stage lighting trees and floor washes, DJ controller stations, and load-in coordination with your venue.
Do you do weddings and corporate events?
Yes. Weddings, corporate parties, holiday parties, client appreciation nights, winery events, festivals, resorts and private parties are our core events. Our performers have played for clients and venues including the San Jose Sharks, the NHL All-Star Game, Levi's Stadium, Meta, Google, PayPal, Intuit, NASCAR, Topgolf, Fairmont and The Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe.
